The Butte Chinese
The Butte Chinese: A brief history of Chinese immigrants in southwest Montana, by George Everett, is an introduction and overview of the Chinese experience in Butte. The 24-page ilustrated booklet takes you from the first Chinese immigration in the American West to the recent history of the Mai Wah buildings. The booklet includes research questions that can be used as starting points for projects at all levels, from grade school to professional study.
The Butte Chinese is available at the museum for $3.00 per copy.
